Minister of Commerce: Egypt aims to increase its exports to $145 billion over 6 years

Engineer Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry, said that Egypt aims to increase petroleum and non-petroleum exports to $145 billion annually over the next six years, in addition to increasing industrial output by 20% annually, and raising the contribution of the green economy to the gross domestic product to 5% over the next six years. At least, in addition to increasing job opportunities by providing 7 to 8 million opportunities during that period.

The Minister thanked the efforts of the work team of the Trade and Export Development Project in Egypt for the permanent and continuous coordination in various activities that reflect positively on the performance of the Egyptian export sector and the competitiveness of Egyptian companies in foreign markets.
